Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 9, 2026

1. Introduction

Roadworthy Productions LLC (“Roadworthy Productions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates tourdetour.com (the “Site”). Tour Detour is a documentary-style automotive internet series. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors to the Site, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described here, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information: information you provide directly and information collected automatically.

2a. Information You Provide

We collect personal information that you voluntarily submit through forms on the Site. The Site currently provides two forms:

  • Newsletter Sign-Up Form: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name.
  • General Contact Form: When you submit an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, and any additional information you choose to include in your message.

We only collect personal information that you voluntarily provide. We do not require you to submit any form to browse the Site.

2b. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information through analytics tools, including Google Analytics. Depending on your cookie choices, this may include:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page.
  • Referring website or source that directed you to the Site.
  • Browser type and version.
  • Device type and screen resolution.
  • General geographic location (city or region level, not precise location).
  • Date and time of your visit.

Depending on your cookie choices, our analytics tools may set cookies and process limited identifiers such as your IP address. We use this information to understand how visitors interact with the Site so we can improve the experience. We also use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool that does not set cookies or collect personal data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Newsletter communications: If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you updates about Tour Detour, including new episodes, seasons, and related news. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email.
  • Responding to inquiries: If you submit a contact form, we use the information you provide to respond to your message.
  • Site analytics and improvement: We use automatically collected data to analyze traffic patterns, understand which content resonates with visitors, and improve the overall performance and usability of the Site.

4. What We Do Not Do

We want to be clear about what we do not do with your information:

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
  • We do not currently use advertising pixels to serve targeted advertisements. If this changes, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required.
  • We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
  • We do not build behavioral profiles of individual visitors for advertising purposes.

The tracking technologies currently active on the Site are used for analytics and performance measurement and for protecting our forms from spam and abuse. They are not connected to any advertising network.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies in connection with its analytics tools. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that help us understand how visitors use the Site.

The types of cookies we may use include:

  • Essential cookies: These are necessary for the basic functionality of the Site, such as maintaining your session while browsing.
  • Analytics cookies: These help us understand visitor behavior by collecting data about page views, traffic sources, and Site usage patterns. They are set only after you consent.

When you first visit the Site, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential (analytics) cookies, and analytics cookies are not set unless you opt in. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the Site footer, or control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Site, but you will still be able to browse and view content.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to help operate the Site and deliver our services. These may include:

  • Analytics providers: Such as Google (Google Analytics) and Cloudflare (privacy-focused, cookieless web analytics), to collect and process usage data about Site traffic and visitor behavior.
  • Email service providers: Such as GoHighLevel, to manage and deliver newsletter communications to subscribers.
  • Form, security, and hosting providers: Such as Cloudflare (Site hosting and form spam-and-abuse protection via Cloudflare Turnstile) and GoHighLevel (processing form submissions), to host the Site and process the information you submit through our forms.

These service providers only have access to the information necessary to perform their functions and are obligated not to use it for other purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

  • Newsletter subscribers: We retain your email address and associated information for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we remove your information from our active mailing list within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Contact form submissions: We retain the information from your inquiry for as long as necessary to respond to and resolve your message, after which it may be archived or deleted.
  • Analytics data: Analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention settings of our analytics providers, such as Google.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide your information at your own risk.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
